yes it's been a big joke. People thought the rates would be self funding, but when they are shut-in for long periods and restricted by choke and restricted to domestic sales. It all adds up to a dismall failure. Payback period is just too long.

The only ones making money are the russians. They bought in low and have secured domestic oil via brokers. Still something smells. They have raised too much for the piddly amount of wells they have and they seem to have given up on NWZ-2 well. That was only a re-entry that needed a pump installed.
