"if the offer has been exteneded for more than one month, shareholders have the right, if they have accepted the offer, to withdraw their acceptance in accordance with section 650E of the Corporations Act to regain control of their shares"

the offer initially expired 28 february 2007. and i cant see them allowing the 28.61% they have acquired so far get away.

i note they had 28.45% as of 27 february. so in the past 10 days, they have acquired .16% - which is 245,670 shares only (153,544,060 x .16 / 100).

it would seem there will have to be an increased offer. no question about it. if not, the offer will lapse and the share price will head north making up for 3 months of lost time i cant see a downside in holding these shares!!

should be good to watch.
