Spoke to someone close to the company & also close to Datt Capital, one of the cornerstone investors in SER.

Firstly, about Datt Capital . These guys are very astute operators, with an outstanding history of success & an uncanny way of divesting out of bad situations. Consider their play on WA1, not their only success, with a low of 12c and a high of $20. Not too shabby, is it? Then consider their timely exit out of Alice Queen, a situation that turned sour - they got out without much pain.

The fact that Datt has put his family's personal money into SER over a number of years speaks volumes. Long story short, my call yesterday revealed that Datt's views on SER are still very positive. He's not divesting anytime soon. His right hand man, Tony Gu sits on SER's board & is equally committed.

Given SER's low marcap, the possibility of a 10x or 20x is very much on the cards if they have even the slightest drilling success over the next few years.

The SER team has great connections. Fortescue has chosen them as a partner. Why? Because SER has great territory and some pretty smart people in its ranks. And when SER's people call Twiggy, be assured the phone gets answered. Most other juniors can't claim the same.

And let's not forget Ionic. Once that's sorted, there'll be decent money headed for SER's coffers. The money will almost certainly be spent on drilling rather than a capital return.

I've held SER for almost a year & I am one of the more committed Top 20 shareholders, with more orders on further weakness. DYOR.
