bhp issues $us1.35bn global bond 10:55, Tuesday, 6 December 2005
Sydney - Tuesday - December 6: (RWE Aust Business News) -
BHP Billiton Ltd (ASX:BHP) has priced two tranches in a global bond comprising $US600 million of 5pc senior notes due 2010 and $US750m in 5.25pc senior notes due 2015.
The proceeds will be used to repay debt incurred to fund the recent acquisition of WMC Resources and to repay commercial paper.
BHP shares were down 11c to $21.92.
