Your suggestion of using NFL screening at ...say the age of fifty or even forty, since there is suspicion of neuro-degenerative processes beginning (very early stages) in the forties. They didn't differentiate between using plasma or CSF, so creating baseline measures earlier on wouldn't be that onerous. Automatic updates every five years would be a diagnostic tool and give a "heads up" if things were going off the tracks.
While interesting - it's PBT434 (and PBT2) that I'm interested in. At their current rate of progress, I'll be reviewing the deed on a cloud palace (I wonder if it comes with a harp or do you have to byoh?) before they become available.
