Reputation savaging is not the exclusive domain of the teenage girl. Tabloid journalism loves it. You can talk about intrinsic value and support levels til you're blue in the face but these relentless - and perhaps orchestrated - pieces are doing real, palpable harm not only to the company, but to the existing franchisees who are doing well.
But what of the issues outlined in the media; the poor communication, product quality, and the more serious allegations regarding selling franchises knowing they were loss making?
Ignoring the emotional fluff, strained adjectives and outright lies, there are some serious issues here aren't there?
As a former holder I no longer have agency to directly question the company. But I want to see the businesses (plural) do well. Has anyone had success in putting these recent issues to the company and have there been any responses?
