I agree with this analysis. The platform is worth nothing at this point in time.
There's a saying in marketing, "go where your customers are". Well the customers are certainly not on the platform yet.
That doesn't mean to say that the videos aren't being used effectively across social media and websites. The business should be judged for what it is at the moment, video production and social media marketing. The questions people should be asking themselves is; how much can they make doing what they are currently doing? Is this sustainable? How much would I pay for a business like this?
Once you have the answers to the above weigh up the risks associated with the financing and cost of building and marketing the platform. Then you have your fair value.
