Investors need to have confidence in the market. Any company can be targeted and smeared by media. That is way more damaging then the accurate portrayal of business indiscretions. Every investor will be looking over their shoulder if this is left unchecked. i will move my investments os if I have to. Too much to risk for me. There are a few separate issues going on here imo. BIG's activities are in question no doubt. But there are bigger things going on imo. ASIC will have to attend to them or the investing landscape will change for the worse in Aus imo.
