You and revelscat have missed the point.

MST have a technology that is so far ahead of the game that I am sure the US military are wondering why someone had not invented it earlier (and I mean 20 or 30 years ago!) - hence their almost disbelief over its capabilities and reliability!

Now getting into the US military market is probably just about as hard as getting a drug past the US FDA. Also, there must be a whole load of US manufactures peeing in their pants that MST may be successful. In fact I would go so far as to say that the odd were so stacked against MST right from the beginning, that its amazing they got this far - perhaps it was only the chance that the Oz military might take up MST technology (and thus leave the US behind) that has kept MST going?

Yes, I know, sounds like a conspiracy theory - but the advantages of the MST tech are so far ahead of almost anything else that you would have thought the military types would have been all over it the first time they saw it!

BTW, why hasn't the Oz military been more supportive? Are Aussies so dismissive of "made in Oz" that they need validation by the US? Pissing me off more than a little! Also, if MST is in trouble why doesn't the Oz gov. step in and fund it - isn't it to all our advantage for it to do so? And what particularly p's me off is that if MST goes under there will be a very loud noise as the suitors come running/jostle for the IP rights! The same people who want MST to fail!

On the other hand, if MST manages to get this new funding (and the odds are it will), the sp will triple or whatever overnight - this is why people are willing to take the risk and continue to buy the stock. The chances of funding coming through are high and the rewards for success are going to be very high for some.

Finally, if MST survive and eventually do get significant sales in the US, then Oz, Britain and France will follow shortly after and by then the MST sp will head into the $$$ - probably looking at 100 bagger if MST is ultimate successful.

Of course, should funding disappear, administration will follow and the losses for many will be huge (not to mention the 100's of millions already expended over the last 10 years or so).

Instead of poo-pooing MST, we should be wishing them luck, there is a lot riding on this, not just for SH, but for all Aussies too.

PS: I agree that some of the shenanigans pulled by MST management and "owners" over the years may have left many investors bitter, but this is business and no-one will win if MST fails to survive - unless of course it is the circling vultures!
