Dear FER'ites,

(is that a more appropriate way to address you?! ... still searching)

Given that there's been no response from the FER regulars, and a few posts from PLT'ers, it seems that either my request for info was lost in the quagmire, obscured by just placing a link to the article versus the relevant quote, or perhaps no one felt inspired to respond.

In case it was one of the former two, I'll try spelling out the issue by quoting the relevant & offending part of the article as far as FER is concerned:

As I mentioned previously, the comments preceding that about PLT were superficial and uninformed, and I would imagine the same would be the case with the above.

Can any of the FER holders shed any light on what is wrong with the above quotes and why?

p.s. whilst Red's request for info regarding FER were perfectly valid, I wouldn't blame anybody for not responding to a request for 'expert' opinion. In my chosen field of IT, I've been at it for almost 25 years and I'd never own up to being an 'expert' no matter how much I knew about an area of specialisation, so why would a regular HC forum member want to?! My request for info is not requiring such ominous and lofty qualifications; just if anybody has ideas and can post them that would be great, thanks

p.p.s. Dabru, thanks for defending me from a 'hidden' (or in my case ignored) nuisance that appears to have attacked me, when they know I'll not be aware of it (due to the 'ignore'). It was obviously a cheap-shot, thanks for responding on my behalf mate
