Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the ?Innovator of the
year? award by Climate Alliance Limited, a local not-for-profit, membership based company that
engages with business leaders and communicates the opportunities and risks of climate change.
?The selection panel commented that Ceramic Fuel Cells demonstrated determined innovation
since its inception in 1992. It has invested over $250M in R&D towards the development of an
innovative fuel cell technology that delivers power and heat to households in a very efficient
manner. It has developed strong commercial relationships with some of the largest utility

Directors Peter Binks, Janine Hoey and Group General Manager ? Commercial Andrew Neilson
represented CFCL at the award function. Peter Binks accepted the award on behalf of CFCL?s
directors and staff, and his acceptance speech paid tribute to the dedicated staff who have
worked hard over many years to commercialise its innovations.
This award follows several other recent awards for the Company and its BlueGen product, in
Germany, UK and Australia, including the 2011 DuPont Australia and New Zealand Innovation
Award.
