I think that the heading of this thread along with Mr. Bells 'picturesque' response, ooze faster lane politics. Also could be giving away a sense of premeditation.
It has happened before. The days prior to the placement announcement, it had a similar flavour.
No, I am not at all complaining. Since we are out of the slower lane, I am guessing that this sort of maneuvering becomes necessary, as the stakes are getting higher.
So long as, politics are accompanied by backstage (or, out front) substance.
