I've been a holder of ANG before the GFC. I guess it wasn't a surprise to hear the news that Bradken finally wanted to swallow the rest of Austin, the only question of why did it take so long!

Personally I would love for Austin to remain independent but if not, i would love to seeing a 3-way bidding contest like Warranambool Cheese and Butter. Love to see something like Caterpillar or Komatsu enter the contest but they would probably like to stay as OEMs.

What do you reckon HC's on the chance of another bidder? Whilst the 21% means Bradken can prevent compulsory acquisition, it's not impossible if the price is right.
