I saw on the Bloomberg ticker that Total (the French giant) is looking for a shale gas acquisition. Following the recent Exxon deal, it seems that some of the big fishies are getting themselves set in this space.

Not that I think they'd be looking at a relative newbie minnow like RFE, but it demonstrates that there will be ongoing consolidation as the big players set themselves up for the future.

Meanwhile, we can expect to get set here for the summer doldrums and not much excitement for a few weeks at least.
