LCT is on fire. The volume was 1,089,900 shares equivalent and the price finished at $US3.39 up 45 cents or 15.3%. At a conversion of $AU 0.93 the Au price is 36.5 cents versus a close here yesterday of 34.5 cents.
The volumes are the key at the moment and signify that there is strong institutional support which means the stock is being bedded down for the long term. Clearly the speech in Venice last week has made a big impression and the buyers see the company making a big contribution in the quest to cure type 1 diabetes.
