Quote -WA Police are searching for a man following reports an unknown vessel carrying multiple people landed on the West Australian coastline, also triggering an Australian Defence Force operation. In reports published by The Australian, the occupants of the boat, believed to be Chinese, arrived at the remote Mungalalu Truscott Airbase in the far north Kimberley region on Friday afternoon. Sky News has also reported it’s understood about 13 Chinese nationals walked onto the Truscott air base about 4pm on Friday. The area still functions as a commercial airport and is owners by the Wunambal Gaambera Aboriginal Corporation.
