Tafe cuts may be somewhat unpopular but are needed. They are inefficient and carry too much fat. I know that one in particular, aligned with a uni, that has 900 teaching staff and 1100 middle managers! As long as the cuts are directed at the areas carrying the fat and not just broadstroke, they can do with a trim.
