gee we wouldnt want to have a downturn, if a lot of builders are falling over in a good market, what happens if it turns bad? And record low interest rates as well.. mcCracken homes in SA is in talks about calling in administrators today, plus Becton (asx listed bec) also in administration.. feel sorry for all the subbies, etc..what needs to be analysed, is where did the money go to casue these things to happen??? price to cheap? cant recover costs? Are materials to high? Are tradespeople commanding too much money, and it makes it unviable? Is marketing costs too high? no buyers? could be a combination of all the above....
