Inbuilt redundancy is code for built to fail rather than being designed to be maintenance free.
PV's are traditionally placed low down, much lower than the fossil fuel structures with their built in redundancy.
Wind turbines are designed with access.
Renewables are required to be built with energy storage.
Why would anyone build 1700 coal power stations when they are so expensive to build and operate plus they now carry a huge liability as the damage to the atmosphere is well understood?
Buy some more coal shares and help fund the smart money leaving coal for renewables.
