sure, that could happen. that aspect is still even higher up in the air in my opinion - why practically put the non-core businesses basically on care and maintenance if it's got such good prospects?
unless there's suddenly a huge take-up of translucent tech wafers.... that could possibly come within 2 years or less if there is pent up demand that suddenly comes online.
any major deployment of solar systems installations will take 3 years from first screw-bolt if not more and that's not counting time needed for regulatory approvals. reference Mildura on how long an installation could take. sure, it might be a bit sooner with building experience but arent experienced staff currently being let go?
i've never seen chronologic as a big money spinner inspite of it's supposedly revolutionary and ground-breaking tech. thus far, it doesnt seem to be a must have tech for the people who would have need for such equipment. seems not be to a disruptive enough product to replace the current generation of equipment in large numbers.
the above 3 scenarios are in terms of steady revenue streams coming from the 3 business segments.
if we think about single hit fund injections, that would come if interested party(s) take equity stake in any/all the 3 business units but that would be single individual events like discreet milestone payments SLX gets for its enrichment process.
SLX has been trying to find parties interested in taking equity in it's non-core business for some time now; this is not a new effort that's just cropped up when SLX announced their mid-year supposed "business restructure."
will be wonderful if SLX finally shows progress on this front but i wont be holding my breath.
btw, all this watching of uranium spot price, daily ADR/ASX price/volume movements, alternative energy news blurbs about proposals govts are supposedly getting up to really shouldnt matter to a stock such as SLX with such lead times but hell i'm guilty of it too. i look at all these manicly EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY!
