what i truly dont understand is why the Mildura facility was put under care and maintenance. the equipment has already been paid for and installed so who cares what it's per kW cost is? really, it's solar... once it's up, it cant cost much to just leave it on and churning out electricity whatever its current capacity is. better than it being put under care and maintenance and not generating revenue. the only reason i could come up with was that the damned thing was a white-elephant because it wasnt grid connected! who in their right mind goes about putting up such expensive stranded installations?
