Strike actually owns approximately 68% of both Apurimac and Cuzco. They increased their holding in the projects some time ago when the negotiated a deal with MAPSA. See announcement on 9th March.
Interesting where this Ausinco comes from. I dont think MAPSA could sell the remaining stake in Apurimac without giving Strike the first right of refusal.
This is certainly worth more investigation. I think Ausinco are involved in another iron ore tenement in Peru not Apurimac.
More information is required. Someone call the company.
In the meantime I think the cuzco drill results are due shortly. I think something big is brewing! Just a hunch nothing concrete.
