Spot on elzephyrus, nice to see there is someone here able to see the big picture. There is a massive amount of foreign investment in our stock market. Last night alone the AUD fell 2c all things being equal that equates to a loss if you paid for our market in USD, but worse yet, stocks have significant market exposure, ie tax, cost of inputs, labour, and the ability to raise capital all of which have been adversely affected recently. Seeing the marjors fall today is not unexpected. Buy back into them when the aud is < 60c and the market has bottomed. You will get a nice rally, in the meantime it's best to avoid them.
