Cape York, not much insured population for IAG up there. Might affect SUN more and QBE on the reinsurance side, hardly an issue for IAG.
The Bureau of Meteorology said there was a 20 to 50 per cent chance the trough, about 700 kilometres off Cape York, could strengthen on Tuesday or Wednesday. Pretty boring stuff to try to downramp IAG in the middle of an impressive T/A bullish continuation wedge, in the end the bulls on IAG will triumph as the break above the upper trend-line signals a continuation of the prior uptrend beyond $5.70. It will take more than a Cape York based cyclone to disturb that trend but by all means if people want to sell, I will buy IAG below $6.
