If I could summarize the difference simply:
NXT provide the physical location and connection (physical) to facilitate companies having their data in the cloud on their own server hardware (using NXT racks / cooling / power)
MP1 - provides software interconnect to allow businesses to put their data onto the cloud using other peoples hardware in facilities such as NXT... it can be setup rapidly and modified just as fast (more or less data/speed/storage etc)... they have multiple offerings depending on the circumstance
I hold both and could not be happier with either company
