    It's more about the confidence shown to go a head and spend up front that sort of money (compared with much lower commitments from total and gdf). It's also a step towards speeding up how long it will take to see what sort of resources are in these areas, how they flow etc; great Ineos are willing to spend the big dollars getting equiptment and people in and to get things moving. If they're spending the $ in many ways Igas doesn't need to.

    And for acreage building; I backed DTE originally based on how management ran AOE in Queensland, very similar, getting early acreage in key areas, often very close to existing networks.

    Bottom line is, the big capital is not going to be spent by Igas, Igas just need to hang around long enough for the resource to be proven then a major will come in do the rest, as what happened with AOE, and Ineos moves are a big step toward seeing the resource proven sooner rather than later.
