Thanks. I've been investing (and day trading) for 15 years. I learned many of hard lessons along the way, particularly in my first few years investing.
I'm not trying to pick a bottom though. I saw value in BKN at $1 and took a small partial core position. I added small at $0.70ish and had/have every intention of adding more, either higher or lower.
I constantly add to my positions, I trade around my positions and I scale out/partial sell out of positions, higher or lower.
Bottom line though is that there is a BIG difference between averaging down while using margin and tying up all your capital, and averaging into a position which is relatively small (2% of your total capital).
