    I can see Visa and Mastercard and card acquires wanting this tech on their own so they can cut out Splitit and make more revenue from the banks/issuers. (own the API whitelabels)
    But only after its proven to them that people want it.

    But it would not be in the best interests of consumers globally for of the likes of Visa or MC to own this on their own.
