Well, another day dawns in the Metal Storm saga. What the metal storm board apparently lack in competence they certainly seem to be making up in adrenaline inducing knee jerk announcements of the "we're gonna do it and jump .... unless .... but wait ..... no ..... we're really going to do it !!!!" kind.

As far as the "stockholder fleecing conspiracy"/"bankrupt it and make off with the IP" theorys go, Harmony really are quite good at this (anyone remember Chemeq (CMQ)? World beating technology, Harmony and one other bond holder whip the carpet out from under them and .....). I sincerely hope that is not what is happening here but the next week or two (if not day or two) will tell.
Being a defence tech company I'm wondering how well that would work in this case but hey, stranger things have happened.

For my money, it's a punt but I'll be holding onto my MST shares and seeing what happens today. With the last announcement the money transfer either happens today or if proven to be BS, doesn't at all (and ye-olde litigation cycle starts) so if nothing else, it will be interesting to watch. Personally I hope they survive, the stacked projectile technology has a lot of potentially great military and non military applications, all they need is one or two products to get off the ground so they can make a buck and fund development .... and that would be good to see. An Aussie company developing a good idea and actually making it as opposed to getting chewed up and spat out by financiers and it all going overseas !

.... and before anyone says it, yes I'm new to Hot Copper but I'm not an agent provocateur for the dark forces behind the scenes ;-) I've been following / holding metal storm for quite a while now and am not about to cut and run now.
