Thor Mining PLC ("Thor" or the "Company"), AIM, ASX: "THR" the specialist metals company focused on advancing tungsten, molybdenum and uranium projects in the Northern Territory of Australia, was notified on 19 September 2008 that Norm Gardner, a non-executive director, purchased 469,961 ordinary shares of 0.3p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 4.85c (Australian) between 16 September and 19 September 2008. Following these transactions Norm Gardner's beneficial shareholding in the Company has increased from 263,980 Ordinary Shares to 733,941 Ordinary Shares representing 0.5% of the issued share capital of the Company.'
