Admitedly the first well into South Grosse Tete is running a bit behind schedule - compliments of a tight rig market, and compounded by Katrina no doubt. But AMU's presentation at the Good Oil Conference contained some excellent compensating news I thought.
Slide 19 noted that the upthrown Nodosaria prospect (potential 50-75 Bcfg) was scheduled to be drilled 1st quarter 2006 AND the Deep Wilcox prospect (potential 250-500Bcfg) was also scheduled to be drilled in the 1st quarter 2006. Given that previous announcements had given the impression that drilling these targets might be 2 to 3 years out, this is good news indeed.
Roll on Q1 2006, and put a bottle of Pol Roger aside in anticipation!
