Tuesday 4th January 2011 IPGA Ltd (ASX: IPP), the owner of Asias No. 1 network of property portal sites under the iProperty umbrella brand (www.iproperty.com), today announced that Georg Chmiel would join the IPGA Limited Board.
Georg is the Chief Operating Officer of LJ Hooker, Australias leading real estate franchise group. Prior to this, Georg spent 6 years as the Chief Financial Officer of the ASX listed REA Group the owner and operator of realestate.com.au.
We are excited to have Georg join the IPGA Limited Board. I had the privilege of working closely with Georg at the REA Group and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in owning and operating property portals to iProperty. In addition Georg was intimately involved in the REA Groups extensive M&A activities, commented Simon Baker, Chairman, IPGA Limited.
