looks like the police may have been correct in preventing a rescue attempt occurring earlier as the rescuers would have possibly been killed by the second blast, if they had been in there. So I have too apolagise for what I said about Knowles handling of the situation looks like he was probably correct in not having the rescuers go back in. Unfortunately it amounted to Monte Carlo game theory in determining the possible odds of what was the most appropriate action, risk rescuers on the one hand , against the possile odds of survival of the victims on the other.
Under emotional situations like this we all think we have the correct answers its difficult to have the dicipline of mind to realise that there should be one person making the final decisions and even if its the wrong decision its better than collective chaos.
