    Further to that, if they are said to be this close to a deal and have an update on Monday, then I would presume that will either be the news on a firm bid or they will call a halt pending the final announcement. Can't see how or why they would risk a few more days of trading in between Xmas and New Year with a deal in the wings. They should be in a halt already imo...
