An absolute farce. With LME at $7.5k and production ramp up WAY behind schedule, I reckon the SP would be back around $5 without the bid. Views?
Also, we haven't covered the worst case scenario of Gecamines and MCK orchestrating a "First Quantum" and, maybe with Dan Gertler, taking the mine off AVM. This is a real possibility. Apparently, according to a brief snippet of an Africa Confidential article on google that costs money to buy, Dan Gertler and Moise Katumbi, current/former (not sure) Governer of Lubumbashi/Katanga and head of MCK, have form together. Gertler is an interesting character and was instrumental in First Quantum's asset loss. This would be an absolute disaster.
IMO, the risk is such that it's almost time to forego the extra 60c and sell now.
