I agree that there should be an official investigation into ACU, however they are only a small fish and the authorities will not act unless they have complaints.
Shareholders should band together and push for an enquiry. Start by flooding the ASX and ASIC with complaints. Unless of course you enjoy being robbed.
I am no longer a shareholder but have empathy for those who still hold.
Shareholders should ask why Opara lent the company, which he claims was virtually worthless, $1m during October, taking a charge over all the companies assets and giving the company two months to repay the loan when as director, he knew that they would not be able to do so.
Why did he put the company into a trading halt and then launch a takeover at below market price?
Serious questions should be asked about the position of the balance sheet on the most recently released financials. Where are all the assets?
As I say, nothing will happen unless the shareholders want it to.
