I had a mate who didn't turn up to the union picnic went fishing instead when he turned up to work next day he didn't get his supply of tiles to lay,took several days to get going again.
Went to the next meeting and stood up to say his peace about all his union fees being given to the labor party, two heavies rushed to stand beside him and was told to sit down, no tiles again next day.
He is 6 foot 4 inches high and two pick-handles wide but they scared hell out of him.
He could never run a business without being a union member.
