Apologies, I was pretty wasted last night when I posted that, and absolutely didn't read your post as well as I should have. As for the 3.9 billion number, in the event of a take over, managements options get turned into shares (provided the take over is at a higher price than the excercise price) so any split of a lump sum takeover offer needs to take these into account.
