Similar event happened during the Krakatoa eruptions which caused temperatures to plummet due to sunlight being blocked by mineral partials in the atmosphere - However that’s not what this is about isn’t it, in that this is about co2 (amongst other gases) building up in the atmosphere due to the inability of the earths various systems to sequester the gas, which then in turn leads to heat being retained instead of radiated into space causing temperatures to increase rapidly across the globe and habitable zones being affected.
