Nuts they are not trialing the placebo they are trialing/ experimenting with cvac. Ask one of your expert posters on here, if they are honest they will comfirm for you that the "placebo" used in the trial is specifically designed to have no real effect. You don't trial a placeo in the same study in which you are trying to verify the effect of an active comparator in this case cvac.
