Adacel has been awarded an A$8 million (US$4.4 million) contract to
provide air traffic control simulation systems to the United States
    Army.

The award opens up a major new arm of the US defence forces for
Adacel. Adacel will supply ATC simulators to the US Army's Fort
Rucker ATC training facility in Alabama under contract with Computer
Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC). The three dimensional virtual
reality ATC simulators will be used as an integral part of the
training facility's curriculum and will dramatically improve the
    throughput of the school.

The latest award, which follows the recent selection by the US Air
Force to supply a planned 94 air traffic control (ATC) simulation
systems under a program with an estimated value of up to US$72.5
million, furthers Adacel's position as a leader in ATC simulation in
    the US defence market.

Adacel also continues to build its leadership position in
international civil ATC simulation markets and is currently awaiting
finalisation of several contracts for which the company has been
    selected.

Since November, Adacel has been selected for North American civil and
defence air traffic simulation and management systems programs
    totalling around A$200 million.
