As black swan has suggested you should stop worring about the daily/hourly SP fluxuations. KAR has been like this since P1 and if you try to uncover rhyme or reason in the movements you'll drive yourself mad. Given you've talked from the perspective of holding onto KAR until $10+, I'd suggest that you sit back and relax down at your local brazilian beach for a while. Come March/April/May next year I'd expect the SP will have met your objectives.
