this is 'of course' truth im not having ago at the LNP and Greens for this proposal im sure there is more then i could possibly understand.
But Coles and Woolworths do control ~75% of the grocery market it cannot be a 'good thing.' Regardless, there is an arguement though that i side with that we should not 'punish successful/hard working people'
it is why i dont support laws that hurt landlords or high income earners etc if you work hard and save/invest wisely you shouldnt be 'punished for that'
i dont think Coles and Woolworths should be punished for running a 'good business' however if under handed deals are happening squeezing out producers unfairly i do think they should be punished more severely.
It is more then the ALP is doing but it is probably a step too far (but my understanding is they will have the power to break them up only if they dont play by the rules)
