News for Today (AEST)




The XJO closed higher on Monday, where spread increased, and while volume was below average, it was about average for a Monday, and the close was strong near the high of the day.  
Price appears to have put in a beautiful potentially bullish reversal, the downbar has accelerated lower and has higher volume than the upbar, and the upbar has a close which is higher than the downbars high......just how things should be on a reversal........very nice indeed......
All it needs now is some positive confirmation to follow, and we're off to the races.......and that is where there might be a catch.........there is no trading tonight in the US as they have a holiday for Labor Day.  And from time to time our market makes an attempt to wrong foot some participants when there is no overnight direction being set, and the opportunity to do so presents itself.  So we can only wait and see how price responds today, and then on Wednesday after the US trades on Tuesday night.....and see if we are in the same (or similar ) position then.
Gee........it seems there is always some if's and but's surrounding the trading lately.......
