The education apartheid which was initiated by Howard's reactionary regime has undone what the enlightened Menzies 'education melting pot' achieved - socio-cultural interaction, understanding, tolerance and celebration of difference.

Today, 30% of Australian kids are told by private schools and politicians that they're 'special' and their wealthy taxpayer-funded 'private schools grossly over-resourced for decades. Meanwhile the other 70% of Australian kids are treated very differently - their public schools under-resourced now for decades, their access to technical schools and trades training centres knee-capped and as job-seekers they're treated as criminals with their hands out-stretched.

Australia has trashed its core values for decades now to create a dog-eat-dog society which is fuelling intolerance and loathing.
