Why is it that everyone thinks 'bots' are trying to push the price down? Yesterday there was automated buying! Bots don't push the price they simply trade using complex algorithms based on average prices, current buying and selling, and market conditions.
This has fallen on low volume during a generally red day. It's no wonder buyers sat back and let weak holders sell out.
As for late buying, I wouldn't be surprised with potential drilling news out next week, that's a good reason to hold over the weekend.
