I only care about one school and that is the school my son attends in Cairns
He starts grade 5 on the 7th February
The school he attends have behavioural problem management and time out when required not that it is needed and his class has many different races. Australian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese
My 10 year old has no friends outside of school here in Cairns. He is Filipino because he was born there
School is important to him to interact with other kids his own age and he has friends at school he says
I grew up with the fear of the strap and ruler in the fifties and would not wish that on my son.
Words hurt more than physical punishment and I an sure teachers use many words to hurt kids.
