    Its tough, because while the NDIS funds vital support, it also creates many perverse incentives because its a demand driven big pot of money. It going to be very hard to reign in because anyone that tries will be branded as heartless.

    I was shocked at the autism element, I read an AFR atricle about the forthcomming funding crisis for the NDIS, apparently 1/3 of NDIS recipients have autism. I then read autism diagnosis is up on pre NDIS, that it funds stage 2 autism which is one above 'high functioning' aka no need for support.

    Suprise. Suprise. Sounds like your ex is onto it!
