any offer..barring exceptional circumstances...would attract a premium.....especially when one may have competing offers......
and remember macquarie just bought 5% and UBS bought about 5.75%...so they won't be selling at a loss......
and cathay has made a non binding indicative offer...read the letter in the report..
the letter from cathay that was NEVER to be made public.....
as for "being on good terms with cathay"...noting i have read in reports for the past 6 months indicates a cosey relationship....
quite to the contrary....
cathay acts like its less than 20% holding is a 51% holding...expecting to call the shots...and when that hasn't worked...has made this offer...but must be most annoyed that other parties are interested.........
to me looks like good buying at 19 to 21..v good
