The bottom line is that Hodge, Rodgers, Klinger, Hussey, et al are all wasted talents (and I am a staunch NSW supporter). They deserve a crack at the top level but there isnt room for everyone.
Answer in my book is to allow players to move between the top teams eg let Hodge play for a developing Team (Bangladesh, NZ etc) or make up a Rejects team where players can move in and back to their National side.
PS Ponting is doing OK, But about time Australia had a captian with a bit more charisma and more of a leader. Ponting and Clarke just seem to be yes men for the selectors.
